| Re: Ballistic17's Phoenix Thanks. Yeah they are amazing looking. I ordered my motor and esc lastnight and Pre-ordered a Nsdrc Rs500B servo. For motor and esc went with a Castle Copperhead and 2850 kv slate motor. Think I'm gonna lock out dig but use the selectable overdrive feature. And I have some old rtr servos I can use for that. Probably finish up links, shocks and whatever else I can before the electronics come.

More progress while I wait for my electronics. Than need to paint the body. Still deciding if I want to do one color, Or paint the fenders black and main color, or main color, black fenders and black roof top. |

Wheels look good. I'd just paint the body one colour. You can always come back at a later date and paint the fenders black from the outside which will give it that flat oem plastic look.

Got a set of CC Hand rear inner fenders today. Really like how they look. Very nice quality. A little thin though but should hold up well. |

Got a last minute item for the build. Ordered a Blue Line Fabrication RC roll bar. This is an amazing product as were the front and rear bumpers. Highly recommend his stuff. Now I need to get it painted so I can assemble the body. |

My spare Vanquish Products Method 310 for the Phoenix build. I used a CC Hand spare tire mount to mount it. The plan is to paint this weekend also. |

Blue Line Fab is killing it on their products! Love that roll bar with built in bed rails.

It's painting time. Hopefully it turns out. Never have used translucent paint before. |

Well it's all painted. Didn't quite turn out like I expected but am pretty happy with it. Wish it was more green. Looks good out in the sun though. Now to wait for my servo, servo winch and lights. Last edited by Ballistic17; 03-04-2023 at 09:00 AM. |

Can't wait to see how the colors look outside. The tinted windows look good too. The tinted windows are from the decal sheet I presume? I thought they were just stickers to cover the windows until I looked at my decal sheet and saw the VP logo and looked back at your rig. Very good, might have to see about using those on my next build. I hate the sun on the back of my neck. |
