Default MIP drivelines for the k5 ascender

I recently got a set of MIP drivelines for my k5 ascender they do not fit very good they are a bit on the short side so I called and they told me to shorten my wheelbase or to live with them the way they are or to pull em off if I don't like them I told them I could not shorten the wheelbase because this is the wheelbase for the k5 ascender they pretty much told me to live with it or shorten my wheelbase or pull them off and send them back. Has anyone else had this problem with the MIPS and also with MIP direct with their customer service

That's enough overlap. Should be fine.

What's up with all the grease?

No its not enough it's barely in there and it has a lot of wobble up and down and side to side because its not in far enough

Mine were ok, but I had my wheelbase at 302mm. The only option may be to buy longer male shafts, but that just adds to the cost.

Mine aren't that short. You used the wrong end on them.

I've run mips with less engagement than that.

Its no right you pay 80 dollars for drive lins they better fit like a glove not like leftover parts thrown together

Plus in your pic the suspension is unloaded so it's gonna be short.

When they are off the truck is one driveshaft longer then the other so it needs to be in the rear or front visa versa.

I love the 2 new (I think) hubs they released for the Ascender!
The short and long hubs are going to open up so many options!

On mine the shafts are both the same length, but the adaptors are different length front and rear.

If you aren't using the long hub, you may want to try it. If not, then there may be some more serious modding in your future to keep the wheelbase you have.

I am using the long adaptersin the instructions it shows to use the short one for the front shaft and I put the medium one for it fit better and the rear one has the long adapter but it's way short either way
