Would these fit if the chassis was set at 290mm?

They were designed for the Blazer body wheelbase but there is no reason why you cant shorten them if you are comfortable with that.

Our product page has an image of them on the chassis. Click the link in the first post.

Have you guys tried them with any narrower width bodies? I just put the Proline Chevy Body on and its quite a bit narrower then the stock K5 Body

You read my mind. I was wondering the same thing. I just finished getting the Proline '73 Bronco body put on mine & the stock sliders look really dorky on it.

No, these are specifically for the Vaterra Blazer.

The Vaterra body is much larger than most other brands.

Will there possibly be different sizes made for the Ascender?

I do know a lot of folk that aren't too high on the Blazer body..

They will fit the SCX10 chassis but you have to drill your chassis to the hole pattern on the slider. Any guy with little skill can easily handle this in about 30 mins with a drill and a couple screws and nuts...

Just installed mine. These are real nice quality.

Adds a great "functional" scale look to the chassis.

Just need to warn my 6 year old to not cut himself on the pointy tip edges when flipping it back over.
