Default 2S or 3S???

Hey guys. I have an RTR Ascender I'm picking up tomorrow and need to select a battery for it. Basic question: 2S or 3S? I don't compete at all, and will mostly be bumming around crawling random stuff at my family acreage or around campsites,

Thanks!

Nothing less than 3s! You will still have low end with plenty of top end when you need wheel speed to get through something

Buy 3s now because you will eventually anyway.

Id go 3s. Ran it in mine, 3s and a HH 35t and it was a perfect combo.

I'd say 3s for wheel speed. I run my HH 35T in my SCX10 on 4s! Powerrrr!!

All good answers, I'm a 3S guy, but am running 2s hardcase shorty pack in this to utilize the stock battery tray. 4500mah down low and all fits in the stock battery tray, plus get better low speed control, can gain speed back by adding second gear to the tranny which I haven't done yet, but want to. Yes I could use smaller pinion and 3s, but I wanted to see how this truck ran with the shorty pack and 2S. Wish somebody made 3S hardcase shorty packs.
