They also had a Ford Atlas on the Horizon dealer website I was looking at yesterday, they were both listed as a body.

Now I see the Bronco kit RTR on there @ $399

They just posted this, The Bronco is available as an RTR with short wheelbase config, no rear bumper and no rock sliders.

I like it. Not like there arnt enough bronco bodies available but this one is detailed and a good size. Looks like they didnt completly botch the body lines and stuff like they did on the blazer

Damn..

WIsh I would of waited, but, the body will be available by itself.

Looks better than the Pro Line body, but, not as good as the Tamiya body.. Tamiya really dropped the ball on the overall size of their body. It's really too short of a wheel base.

Guess I can hang the HPI up for a bit longer and wait for this body to come out.

Hmm.. Is this a Vaterra Bronco Body? I wonder if the JConcepts Body is still coming out?

That's hot, thanks Vaterra! One of the best looking early Bronco bodies yet, Tamiya's was way too small, HPI's kinda meh.

Only issue with Tamiya's was exactly that Nate, otherwise, it was perfect. I still have one, so, when I get this bad boy, Comparison starts. lol..

Guess my vaterra rig is gonna sit on the shelf a little longer. grr.. Hopefully this body will be released for sell in a couple of weeks.

Unfortunately it's going to be a little while. The vendor is struggling to keep up with our production for the RTR's. I'm hoping not more than a month after the vehicle ships.

I'll be waiting on the (hopefully) kit, but this is the spark I needed to get me on the trails again.

RTR is on Vaterra's page, prolly kit, but that will be months from now imo. I'd just do the RTR if you're in a hurry, my Blazer RTR has been a ton o fun and was pretty well built at the factory. It's my go to crawler these days.

No plans for a kit version. Sorry. The good news is that if you really want to build it, you can get the K5 Version and build it to the wheelbase you want.

So if this is the body for the short WB, and the K5 is the long WB body......what has vaterra got planned for the other 2 wheel bases?......

Wish it was a 72 blazer but I'll give the short wheelbase a try and just get a body set for my current ascender.

What would've been nice is to have the K5 on one of the shorter wheelbases, and then use the long wheelbase for something like a late model suburban......

A burb AND an 80's crew cab....

Then I could build something ugly like the burb on 1-tons in my avatar

I'm a fan of the LWB, 12.3" for all my 1.9 "scalers" , but this Bronco body is sweet!
