| K10 interior from RC Addict
After having the seat and dash sit on my bench for a month or so I finally got around to putting the start to an interior into my K10. The seat only took a minor modification to the bottom retainer piece that holds the cage on. Had to clip the top nubs off to allow the seat to be far enough back. Ran 2 screws through the provided holes in the bench seat and they snugged right up with no need for lock nuts. The dash went in with minimal issues. I wasn't too impressed with the steering wheel that came with the dash so I replaced it with one from the Axial interior detail sprew. A few touches with the Testors silver paint pen made a big difference. And yes, I'm aware it's a K5 dash in a K10. I need to get RCAddict the picture I have of the K10 dash I found. (Maybe they would be interested in offering the proper dash.) I would have liked to see a little more space on the dash to actually secure it to the shell. Maybe a fin which extended deeper into the hood. I ended up running a small bead of E6000 along the top edge that seats at the base of the windsheild. Then ran a couple of beads around the dash where it met the shell. Seems to be snug now. |

| Re: K10 interior from RC Addict Right now it's just a temporary solution to keep the dirt out. Looking for other solutions at this time. Baby steps man! baby steps! I did see that they do offer front inner fenders with a floor pan built in. But $50 is kind of steep compared to the $3 tupperware inner fenders I made myself. Once I get my sliders figured out I'll worry more about finishing the floor. |

Looks OK, but the dash should definitely be wider.

Interior looks really good, dash could be little wider as noted, but looks way better than my non-existent interior that I should start on. That builders inner fender setup is good deal for $25 with 3d printed main parts and cut drilled sheet, I'd buy it. You can make your own, but it takes time, gotta do what is best for you. |
