| SSD front bumper on the BND Ford?
Hey, anyone know how well/if SSD's Ascender front bumper will fit on the new '68 F100?

Which bumper, they have 2. As for the SSD winch bumper, it should fit fine. at most you might have to raise the body posts 1 hole and I'd also unscrew the vaterra chrome bumper from the body and not use it (it'd look weird behind the black bumper). If you'd like to keep the factory look take a look at the chome scale bumper for the Blazer, would have to cut off the factory body-bumper though. I'd first measure the width of the body to see if it's narrower than the blazer. You would also need the frame-bumper mounts too for either of the bumpers. RC4WD offers some universal bumper mounts for the ascender Z-S1581 (vaterra does not sell them separately, they come in a front and rear set with bumpers VTR231036 ) I'll prolly be going with another Wertymade shorty or maybe a Scalerfab shorty w/stinger bar. I stopped at my LHS yesterday to look at the one they just put on display and can say that body is HOTTTTT ! I'm sold, that will be mine soon Last edited by ScoJac; 12-16-2017 at 01:54 PM. Well...I’ve never done a built thread, would you settle for a “bolt on” thread? I settled on an RC4WD tough armor bumper, it needed to be tucked a bit so here it is before and after: (I did fab new mounting brackets) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yes a bolt on thread is good, my thread is also mostly a bolt on thread as well. Your f100 is looking good, I see you have cut the stock front bumper and lexan off too. |

I'm having the same issue on which bumper ro buy for my F100 body Ascender as I want to have the winch mount as well. I like the bumper setup on the this build Very nice. |

| Re: SSD front bumper on the BND Ford? I actually only lowered the front one notch. I did install limiters in the shocks to achieve a lower ride height. check this out: My F100 “bolt on” thread |
