Default Horizon Hobby Scale & Speed Sale - Thinking "Bronco"

Started thinking about the Bronco...again(been on/off since it came out). On a whim, I visited Horizon Hobby, to see if there were any sales, and to my surprise, there happened to be one going on: The Scale & Speed Sale

Sadly, I just bought a K10 back in October, and have barely broken it in, and am already looking at another Ascender. I know I could get a body and adjust my current K10's wheelbase, but I don't want to mess with a good setup. Plus, I have other bodies in store for the WB2 chassis.

The F-100 BND is tempting to pickup for my daughter, but I'm still tempted by the Venture and new Axial Wrangler.

That's not good news. The Ascender 2 needs to happen soon with all of the competition popping up.

I hate it when people post trash like this cause it always cost me money
I have a bad feeling that stupid F100 may find it's way to my house.

Is the adjustable wheel base models the best way to go with these?

they are all adjustable!

There is only 1 Ascender chassis for all RTR models and the kit version. Each RTR model is built using just the parts needed to create the desired wheelbase for that model, and the kit comes with everything you need to build any of the 4 wheelbases it can be made into.

Awesome thanks for clearing that up. I was looking on amain and they only advertise the $399 trucks as adjustable so I assumed only certain ones were.

I think I have overcome the urge to impulse buy, no thanks to all of you. I am needing a rig for an upcoming racing series though.

Do it!!
I also bought a RTR K10 a few months ago, then a kit for WB3, and now just got another one for WB4 bodies. Expensive and addicting hobby. Sure is fun though!

Wife calls 'em 'toy trucks', I call 'em 'tiny trucks'. Way cheaper than wheeling full size rigs, that's for damn sure.

Thanks for the pics, Yeti.stealth. I love the look of the Bronco. It must require a distinguished taste, because I don't see many videos or pics of it in social media, and even those are mostly from the first year it was released. I don't even see the Tamiya Bronco all that much, compared to the Unimog, which remains ever popular.
I've got a couple of unique bodies that I think will easily fit the WB1 chassis, too, which is another reason I'm considering the Bronco.

Yeah, I was considering one before I discovered the sale, so I won't feel guilty of an impulse buy. Haha!
