| Hammer Time!!!
Alright this is my hammer! I'm running stock for a while then I will upgrade! Here's what I've done Lubed tranny Set the servos Metal panels Sanded tires internally Softer front foams Front shocks have another hole added and 30wt oil 500k diff oil up front Things to come MMP 27t or 35t motor, will test both to see what I like Pitbull Tires (sitting on my shelf because they don't hold on stock wheels) Clocked knuckles Some VP goodness I'm sure Some kind of light bar Here's my brand new pits with CI foam just sitting on the shelf |

This looks pretty badass man. Have you thought about painting the beadlock rings green?

Finally got my pits mounted! Replaced the electronics with MMP, 27t brushed, 4pl! So took it for a spin and.................... 27t brushed on stock pinion is too fast for me!!! I'm going to try 35t brood on a 32t pinion |

I guess I will drop the pinion abit more for my 25t lol, already started at 3 teeth less. Im assuming the arm broke jumping or hitting something fast? |

It hit a rock, if you look close you can see where the rock hit. That was 3/4 throttle, so that's too fast for me, I want a little more crawl and a little less speed. I want about 120% stock speed with way more torque. This 27t was good torque but way more speed! |

| Re: Hammer Time!!! You could just limit your throttle setting to keep you from maxing it out on speed. That way you would still have the torque without the top speed.

| Re: Hammer Time!!! Well, I've spent alot of time with my hammer now, and I love this thing! I've silly puddied the front dif and I have settled on a 27t brushed with a 24t pinion. For me this has the perfect mix of speed and crawl! My metal skins are looking cool with realistic dents and scratches. I am also loving the pitbulls with the CI foams. It was a blast to run at Disney OK last week, there is tons of rock to romp around on! I've thought about trying an open diff in the rear for better steering, so if you have any input let me know! |
