| My diamond in the rough...
So, after about 5 hours of fabrication, I present to you my diamond plated Twin Hammers. Really pleased with the outcome. These panels are made to last. Did it add a little weight, sure. But not much at all and these panels will last for many moons. One of the really cool things to is the fact that the sheet of diamond plate that I bought at Lowes has enough material to make two more sets, should I need to make replacement panels. All this for $27. I really like the cap washers to. I think they break up the staleness of just aluminum. Tomorrow, I add my new aluminum front hub, carriers and rockers. Now for the pics. |
