Default Brushless Motor Question

I have 13.5 Tekin Redline in my Twin Hammers and it runs great.
But I am looking for more speed. I am running a 30 tooth pinion and I am on 3 cell lipo. Would a 10.5 be too much for this truck? I do have a rear swaybar installed. It is used to bash mainly, very little crawling.

I run stock gearing with a 10.5t redline Tekin 2cell . It's a perfect speed for jumping. Sometimes there's not a lot of room to gain speed and my 10.5T gives me power and speed. I run spare tire off, front and rear med sway bar, 100wt oil in piggybacks, handles great on jumps

I have a 8.5t viper system in mine. Sensored, waterproof esc. Its a great system. In low it crawls great, can creep on the rocks as slow as my 35t brushed can( with some steering curve adjustment of course) and is pretty quick. In 2nd its ballistic.

Just go with a 4 pole motor or a 550 can as you will almost have same top end as a 2 pole can and double the torque. Tekin pro4 seems to be a great choice for most, Im running a ballistic 4.5 on 2S and can spin the tires at any speed (Almost to much torque.) When crawling; the larger magnets act like a drag brake (I can climb half way up a wall or hill and let go of the throttle and it will stay.) I won't be going back to two pole for crawling anytime soon.

Try a 70T spur!

I'm running a 13.5 Redline hooked to a MMP on 3S with a rowdy throttle curve. Playing with the throttle curve on the MMP sure brought the 13.5 to life. Still not running cheat mode and I am running stock timing of 12*.

Thanks for the replies. I have the 10.5 on the bench. But I will try to adjust my mmp setting to see if it will liven up my Hammer. I had a Wraith with this same 13.5 combo on 4 cell and it was a perfect setup for the speed I was looking for.
