| your suspension set up w/pics
how do you have your suspension set up? im currently working on my TH. i bought a mg200 front tower and iam working around that. my truck is used more as a "do it all" rig then a dedicated crawler.with that said... so far i have: Front: mg200 front tower/mount associated 4" teflon shocks with #1 pistons and 40 wt oil and blue springs. (im thinking this is over damped doesnt feel right on the bench, yes iam bench racing) for right now iam just gonna run th stock rear shocks but bump the oil up to 70wt. i also have some associated shocks for the rear but i need some parts so those will have to wait. i will also be installing the rear sway bar kit.i will most likely use the medium bar. so far none of this is tested but i will post changes and results as well as some pics. i would love to hear your set ups and findings, maybe we could share some info here. I have incoming 80mm GMade shocks for the front. I am testing out a new front shock mount. Also have Traxxas Big Bore with 40wt and stiff springs for the back. The Traxxas work great as I do nothing but bash it to death. Will let you know when the fronts come in. Might go with 40 or 50wt in them to test it out. |

well i got the truck out today for some testing. it worked half way decent. the rear is over dampened and bounces to much on high speed runs. the front seems close. over all the truck jumps well. im gonna drop down to 50 in the back and see how it runs. gonna look into some wider wheels also. anyone have any ideas? heres some pics: 1st 5 minutes i blew the shock end off... getting some air: air part 2: still shot in the driveway: |
