Default New Toy

Picked up a Twin today. Looking for some info. After doing a bunch of reading I think I want a ROC412 with a MMP or Tekin controller. Looking for some input on that particular setup. I would like a little more top end in 2nd, but would like more control on the slow stuff in 1st.

Default Re: New Toy

Thinking about the MMP or RX8. I like the idea of a fan on there. Of these two, which would be the better choice? Got to drive it a little more today. On the top end I would like to add around 5 mph, nothing crazy. I would like to get a little more grunt and low speed control. Would the ROC be the best choice, or should I go with a faster, more powerful motor and gear it lower to get what I'm after. I'm new to this segment of the hobby and have never used brushless at all. Also I would like to keep it on 2S, only for the smaller size of the batteries. Or is going to 3S worth the trouble of finding a place to mount it.
