Default My new Hammers

Its been a long time since Ive been on here. So long I forgot my old email to recover my password for an old username. Just got my new kit assembled and on the trails. I must say, it is an amazing build. I was going to give this one to my son and mainly drive my Yeti, but this truck is way more fun. We've had them out regularly for the past 2 weeks. Only issue I keep having is the front dogbone end of the CVD keeps coming out. Has anyone had this issue, or know of any fixes? My sone and I are going to machine some new parts for it in the coming weeks. Trailing arms, and possibly an upright front shock mount. If none of it works, we will get some parts from some of the guys on here I've seen.

To keep the dogbone from coming out. You just need to adjust the cantilever pushrod so the travel of the shock does not allow the dogbone to come out. Set the truck on something and let the front suspension hang. Then shorten the pushrod until the dogbone end is in the drive cup.

Thanks Irie. Im not sure why that didn't occur to me already, but that is a simple enough fix. We'll get that taken care of today. I am curious about the sliding drive shaft mod in the future. is there a reason you went with the associated arms? will the MIP shafts fit with the stock front end? Thanks again for the help to both of you.

They have more room to mod the arms so the shafts clear for articulation, and they have a kick-up that improves the geometry of the front end.
will the MIP shafts fit with the stock front end?
No, they have to be modified.
