Default why no hole thru the tranny outputs??

does anyone know of a replacement part with hole thru the out puts and diff pinion sfafts to use pin screws for thw axles and drive shafts?

No. Theoretically the grub screws are stronger as they pinch the output, VS the through pin that removes so much material from the output shaft that there is the potential to break the output where there is the least amount of material at the through hole.

If your having issues keeping the setscrews tight I would suggest thoroughly cleaning the grubs and output yokes with denatured alcohol and using blue Loctite. This should do the trick. Occasionally after lots of abuse I'll find the grubs at the axle ends of the driveshafts a touch loose. The rears I keep and eye on, the front I replaced the grubs with grade 12.9 3x5mm buttonhead bolts so you can really reef on them with 2mm driver VS the 1.5mm driver for the grubs.

If you your really determined to upgrade it then I would suggest chucking up the outputs in a drill press and drilling out/tapping the 3mm holes to 4mm and stepping up a size in grub screws.
