| Shapeway's steering question
Is anyone running the 3d printed stuff for steering off of shapeways? I am at a toss between the HD version or the version that moves the battery to the tray. If anyone is running it will you please chime in? I already bought the mount to run an SCX transmission, but haven't committed to using it yet. https://www.shapeways.com/product/MB...ionId=59939927 https://www.shapeways.com/product/K3...ionId=59911680 This one is non HD but moves the battery to the tub |

I don't have either but I have moved my battery and in my opinion that is the second most important mod after fixing the junk stock steering.

I have the shapeways steering suspension set up and i like it. Is quitte strong. And love the better steering geometry. Also better damping. Altough i think the stand up shocks would even work better. One mayor benefit why i choose for this one instead of Irie. Is because shapeways i located in Holland. So cheap shipping for me and no extra tax. I use my TH for rock racing and bashing. Not really for crawling. Verstuurd vanaf mijn GEM-702L met Tapatalk |

Wes thanks for the info, I think I am going to give it a go. I was just concerned about the whole 3d printed stuff not being strong enough to survive. Do you like the gmade shocks? I had a set on a SCX and I wasnt that impressed with them, but mine were the ones with piggy backs Last edited by jumper; 07-18-2017 at 05:56 PM. |

Yes really like the shocks, the springs are quite stiff but on my TH it works great and was also adviced by scorched parts. I have rsd piggy bags on my 6x6. WesleyRoy's 6*6 mad max truck Verstuurd vanaf mijn GEM-702L met Tapatalk |

Question about this setup, do you have to remove the cage to replace the battery?

I just ordered the shapeways battery mount. But still like to have a driver figure. So going to sort out something. Maybe a little driver that sits on the gearbox. Verstuurd vanaf mijn GEM-702L met Tapatalk |
