| Micro X stout enough for a Twin?
I知 considering putting a castle micro x and state 2850 in my twin hammers. I知 wondering if it will overheat on long runs in the hot weather. I do a bit of everything, fast hill climbs, some jumps, a bit of crawling, trails in between all the rocks, etc. I will run the lowest gear ratio possible, to keep control, and a bec to minimize current through the esc. Y誕ll think it値l be enough? Or move up to a mamba x? |

If you were only crawling with it in low gear it would likely be fine. But if you plan on high gear heavy throttle finger action in hot ambient temps I bet you find the esc runs very hot, likely into thermal protection. The only thing to not like about the mamba x is the price. Otherwise it is perfect for your application. |

Well, after a fair bit of use with the micro, I finally had a thermal shutdown. It was after a few minutes of uphill climbing, foff style, sorta, trying to throttle up over some roots, with some dirt and leaves.... So, onward to regular mamba X!! |
