Default Cruzin Illusion's MOA Motor Skids

Cruzin Illusion's MOA Motor Skids

I was sick of watching my $60 a piece handwound motors get beat on the rocks. So I came up with a nice motor skid made out of nylon so they will slide over the rocks. In the past I have made a few of these motor skids for MOA crawlers. Due to the number of requests I will start making the motor skids available to the public. This will come in a generic size and will need to be trimmed to fit your particular application, since everyone runs a different set up.

I am selling the motor skids for $5.00 a piece plus shipping. I ship USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation. Shipping usually will cost $6.00 in the USA. I can ship up to ten for that price.

These should be in production by the end of next week. I will take pre-orders for the first 50.

***You can PM me with any questions or if you would like to place a pre-order.***

The material diameter is smaller than the motor diameter. This helps hold the skid in place. From there it was just snapping them over the motors. I did put a small piece of servo tape on one spot to prevent them from rotating when they drug across the rocks. It is definately a great upgrade/mod for your $60 a piece motors. I made sure on the lower section that the skid covered the tabs and the brush wire to prevent them from being cut.

Cool.

Can you get them to be thinner for maximum ground clearance?

The wall thickness is at 0.0625. That does not take up much ground clearance.

All PM's returned. There are 14 left on the pre order. I have additional material ordered so all orders above the pre orders should go out soon after.

Thanks,
Tom
