Replace your weak winch controller with one of these custom made winch controllers.
Equipped with 2x relays, this winch controller will handle up to a massive 32volts, and is capable of running even the biggest baddest servo winch!
With a passive electronic brake your winch will not rapidly spool out when under load and the winch will stop instantly rather than winding down slowly when you release the switch on your transmitter.

This controller independently switches DC power from a separate supply which means you can run a seperate 3cell (or more) battery for your winch to give it some more grunt!

Don't suppose I can talk you into a repeat performance when your 8274 arrives...
I just got the controller you sent me for the give-away winch and look forward to doing some testing myself, but I don't have the cool electronic gismos you do.

Maybe I'll see if I can bug Chris, and help him with his next installment in the QS tech thread using the controller you sent.

Dang Jyi....easy on the winch spools! Glad to see how much torque they can withstand. That's an amazing difference between the stock board and your controller. Can't wait to see what kind of numbers you can get with the 8274. I accidently spooled in when I should have spooled out at the last scale comp we had. Your controller with the 8274 on 3s and it snapped my 130lb line like it was nothing. Can't wait to see what your scale says.....

My 8274 arrived late last week, but I'm off on holidays tomorrow so no time for testing.
I've tested two more servos since that video and will add a new video up soon.
Got more winch controllers on the way, and some even have a soft-startup option too which sounds absolutely wickid as it winds up.

I'm not sure what line to use, or how far the 8274 is going to go before stall, but I suspect my digital scales will say something along the lines of "BANG" haha... time to find a 100kg scale I think

I recently received a limited amount of winch controllers from my manufacturer, however they are almost all gone to pre-orders.
I'll make up a pre-order list shortly, and reply to those who have already contacted me so everyone stays in order to be fair while waiting for the next batch to arrive.


Also note, winch can be custom-ordered for a two-position switch if you require. Single press to reel out, double-press to reel in.

Standard -

• Designed for those with a spare channel using a 3-position momentary switch.
• Simple ON/OFF, no bells and whistles... it just works.

Soft Start -

• Designed for those with a spare channel using a 3-position momentary switch.
• Soft startup is easier on the gears in your winch and will gradually ramp up to speed, however it is slightly slower to stop once you let go of the

Two-Position channel -

• Simple ON/OFF, no bells and whistles... it just works.
• Designed for those with a spare channel using a 2-position momentary
  switch. Press down for reel-out, and double press for reel-in
