| 3Rd Brake Light Controller (and more)
Are you thinking of adding lighting to your rig? Why not take one more step and add some more realism? This circuit is like my other light controller, but it costs $5 more! That's because it will also activate a third brake light. This little item will plug in between your receiver and your ESC. It monitors the throttle signal and will turn on (send voltage from the receiver) the following outputs:
This is a video of the Brake, Reverse and Driving Light Controller. It just lacks the third brake light output, so use your imagination for that http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejINF...1&feature=plcp The output pins are compatible with servo connectors. Part no. BK3FWRV The price for this controller is $35 Thanks for looking! Al Last edited by heyok; 07-13-2017 at 09:39 AM. Reason: Fixed image broken due to photobucket problem |

Thanks for making one of these for me Al. It's really great! Can't wait to install it into my rig. |

How much current can be run through it? Do you ship internationally, if so, how much is shipping to Finland?

What voltage does it take in / give out, can i run it from 8V, if so what is the output voltage ie. normal/brakes?

| Re: 3Rd Brake Light Controller (and more) This is meant to run from the receiver voltage at a maximum of 6 volts. It will switch the receiver voltage to its output when the brakes are on, and will output that voltage through a 1K ohm resistor when the brakes are off.

| Re: 3Rd Brake Light Controller (and more) Ok. I am running my receiver at 8 or 8.4V so it means too much for the light controller? Any chance of making switch that can handle up to 9V and still run the power from receiver?

OK, Thanks for the pointer HeyOK! I was drooling over this one too, but wasn't sure if it was the best way of doing it. Where do you recommend getting the LED strings, is there some place local we lucky lower mainlanders get access to, or do we need to go to the interwebs? I'm actually trying to figure a way of getting all the LED control I want on just one channel. ;) |

Just picked one up. super fast shipping. I haven't installed it on my rig yet but I did wire up some leds to test it out, works beautifully.

Met HeyOK to pick it up, cause we're local to each other (lucky, I know! ). He insisted on making sure I saw it working, which I was very happy about. Of course it did work, and while I haven't installed it yet, I know when I get there it'll work just perfect. Thanks again! |

This looks like the perfect addition to my Axial Jeep JK. Will be sending PM about a 3s compatible setup with LED's.
