Ready Winch The easy way to add a winch to your rig! This is a combination package of my wireless winch controller and servo winch. Add your own winch line and hook. Plug it in between your rig's battery and ESC, mount the waterproofed controller and the winch servo and you are good to go! Doesn't use up a channel on your transmitter because it comes with its own control. This controller needs 6 to 12 volts to operate (a 2S or 3S lipo pack will work). http://i.imgur.com/lBxe1Dq.jpg Part number RW1 Price $80 Also available with Soft Start for $10 more. This causes the winch power to ramp up over about 1/2 a second in order to be more gentle on the winch gears and line. Part number RW1SS Price $90 Do you want the plastic case for the receiver? Add $4 The Ready Winch was reviewed on Infected RC: http://www.infectedrc.com/#!HeyOK-Pe...f231794c60afc1 |

Hope I can help them. |
Re: Ready Winch 3s? 4s? Torque ratings? Either way i think its a good deal! Just curious..... |
Re: Ready Winch Quote:
3S max as I think the motor would go up in smoke on 4S I just use whatever I can find for an inexpensive high torque metal gear servo. Typically it is a TowerPro 996 or equivalent. So the torque will be on the order of 180 oz in at 6 volts if the specs are to be believed. |
Re: Ready Winch This i like! Are they made to order or do you have stock built up? |
Re: Ready Winch Quote:
Mostly made to order. Right now I have one ready. |
Re: Ready Winch That one is mine"thumbsup" |

Re: Ready Winch mine has been going strong on 3s since I got it, it will lift itself up in the air as high as I can hook my cable to...rig weighs almost 10 pounds....I have another of Heyok wireless control servo winch...been going many months on 3s... |
Re: Ready Winch Hey Al, any chance of getting a wired controller that will run directly from 3S ? |
Re: Ready Winch Quote:
http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/vendo...ml#post4754752 Unless you mean something different by "wired controller". |
Re: Ready Winch Quote:
I mistakenly asked about 3S, what I meant was a 7.4V version. I run my ESC's BEC at 7.4V. A smaller wired which controller I could run right off my receiver or small dedicated 2S battery is what I actuall meant. If not I'll stay with original plan and run a smal 850mAH 3S to power my LED light bars and winch through you dimmer switch and 4 amp winch controller. |
