Default 18th scale/ Micro-T guys...... They're here!!!!!

This isn't exactly Crawler related, but I don't just do Crawlers. The 18th scale cars are really fun.

For those of you who have an 18th scale car, want a good brushless setup, but don't want to spend $120, then heres a deal for you. We have tested these, and in my opinion, they're nicer than the mamba's. There are more steps in the throttle than the mamba, so it's smoother. Very easy to program:

And for the Micro-T nuts, We FINALLY have the 2 cell 220Mah lipos in:

Wow, good deal on the brushless. But first I need to get my 18t fixed before I buy a brushless system.

Yes, but you may have more fun with 7+ cells or lipos

Do you have the program boxes available also? If so, what do they run?

I picked one of these systems up a couple weeks ago from CBP when I stopped by to pick up some batteries (total impulse buy). I'm running the controller right now with a C4 9200kv motor (haven't tested the one I bought from them yet) and I must say, the controller is very nice. The cogging (for me) is about the same as a mamba 25 (which is very good). I'm running this in a RC18B (FT) with CVD's and a bunch of other goodies (see pics)

I'll probably give the motor a run sooner or later...

I really like the programming box too. It's very quick to reprogram! I like the portability of it the most.

How many discreet steps does the throttle have? Reverse too? Looks killer!

Hrm, I might have to pick one of these up for my mini-lst and/or my mini-quake. Do you sell just the esc alone?

-We don't have them on the site, Email shop@cheapbatterypacks.com and I can set ya up if you buy a set.

JRH, I don't know the steps... But I will try to find out. Yes there is reverse.

Cloak: We don't sell the ESC alone. But we may have a motor with the 2.3mm shaft to fit the Duratrax cars, We brought some in to test on a mini-quake, and may have one left over.

Hmmmmm.... Can you get just the ESC? I might have to blow some money on the two Minis. One needs just an ESC and the other needs the whole setup.

I saw this BL setup on Ebay, I think (pretty sure it was you guys, in fact).

Anything with a little less blistering power than 7800kv? On our local carpet track I've tried running my Mamba 8000-powered RC18T and it's like trying to have a swordfight in a phone booth, there's just no room to make the motor sing. I have the smallest of the Mamba rigs (3800? Can't remember) and it's a lot more reasonable.

That's a great price for sure, though!

We can get lower KV's but I will have to ask the big man. ESC's aren't offered seperately at the moment, but I know the mamba alone is close to 80 if I remember correctly. I can see about puting things on the website loose(just motors or esc's).

Yeah, if you get something in the 4700kv range ... well, I bet I could sell ten of them for you. Let us know!
