Re: Deringer, 2.2P 2013 Spec Body by Lattice Innovations Like the "hump" on the roof, gotta be easy to recover.... Well done. |
Re: Deringer, 2.2P 2013 Spec Body by Lattice Innovations Yea, it is Cake to re-right. The windshield acts like a nice "ramp" when you are upside down and find a rock. |
Re: Deringer, 2.2P 2013 Spec Body by Lattice Innovations Very cool, nice to see a new option out there. |

Re: Deringer, 2.2P 2013 Spec Body by Lattice Innovations OK so while I was at Rausch Creek for the NECQ I met BC-Brian and I got to see this body. when I first looked at it I thought it was an xr-10 Hardline body. When I learned more about it and found out it wasn't the hard line body, I really liked the look of it being really low on the chassis and how the back of the body curves in and keeps it nice and tight. I saw that he had a heavy gauge and a light gauge one for sale for $25 per body. which for a body that is really nice and will hold up to my driving :) I will take it. I am running a switch chassis from Chaotic Crawlers and I was running the cab on in. the only thing I didn't like about it was the fact that it was high up and got stuck on stuff when I tried to scoot by it. So I picked up both body's from him and the heavy gauge is on my 2.2p and the light gauge is going on either the 1.9 or 2.2s. So I had a comp on the 7th and I had the 2.2p apart to get it ready for the comp. and I cut the body to what I wanted it to look like and I dropped it on and it fit Beautifully over the switch chassis. I got the body painted the day before the comp and I like the look of it for a quick thing. but with paint it weights .6oz(heavy gauge body) on the scale and I can take more weight out. when I got the light gauge one cut and on the scale it was .4oz. Now onto the pictures then the after thoughts. http://i769.photobucket.com/albums/x...05B35BEA19.jpg http://i769.photobucket.com/albums/x...05ACEE5CF0.jpg http://i769.photobucket.com/albums/x...05A62E1E3F.jpg http://i769.photobucket.com/albums/x...059D286F71.jpg http://i769.photobucket.com/albums/x...05936F733A.jpg http://i769.photobucket.com/albums/x...058B46730B.jpg http://i769.photobucket.com/albums/x...05851C3D1A.jpg http://i769.photobucket.com/albums/x...057E8B8323.jpg http://i769.photobucket.com/albums/x...0577AF7878.jpg http://i769.photobucket.com/albums/x...05700AC502.jpg http://i769.photobucket.com/albums/x...05675FD71E.jpg http://i769.photobucket.com/albums/x...0560B6049F.jpg http://i769.photobucket.com/albums/x...054E67F629.jpg The 003 on the side stands for the 3rd body he sold I also have 004 So after going to the comp and pulling off a third place...(I comp with TurboFest and Winnerone23)so there is some competition. but the body did exactly what I wanted if not better. with the switch cab on I would have gotten it hung up in a few places because of how tight the rocks were. other people got stuck were I did not. when I got upside down at a point the body is so low on my chassis that I could easily get it to slide were I wanted to flip it back over. the body is narrow enough that I didn't have to worry about getting hung up. My switch chassis is the original delrin version so it could be lighter but going from the cab to the Deringer I lost .6oz off my rig. the cad, cross braces and the panels in total weighted in at 1.2oz and the body at .6oz. If you are looking for a body and want something light that will roll over better then some body less chassis, is narrower and will protect you shocks as well this is you BODY |

Re: Deringer, 2.2P 2013 Spec Body by Lattice Innovations Testing my Deringer body by Bc-Brian seeing its roll over capabilities - YouTube Hard to roll it over with one hand so it will roll over really easily though |

Re: Deringer, 2.2P 2013 Spec Body by Lattice Innovations Loose gravel and dirt doesn't help and I don't have the strongest motors so I try to stay on the tires |
