i had several people PM me about painting/detailing the hubs. here is what i did on my personal sets.
i painted the flange using Krylon Satin Black, and detailed the hub using a ultrafine sharpie

shown with SS TR ring, and MTHead Delrin ring (murdered out! )

I was able to get the shorter length 2mm sale screws to grab but had to use the supplied hardware to sucker ring down first. The longer length hardware would be best probably.

Also, that was with the thicker Trail ready rings. The other rings would be fine with the shorter length.

Ooooooohhh Aaaaahhhh. Tough choice but the Trail Ready rings give it a lil more tougher look.

STANG KILLA can you possibly do me a favor?? i love these wheels. Just want a bit of info if possible. I want NARROW offset beadlocks. I have some narrow offset wheels that are quite narrow and pin drive so they're perfect for a narrow hardbody BUT they're not beadlock and i'm tired of dealing with glue and slipping beads.

Would it be possible for you (or maybe customers might have a pic) to post a pic of these rims at their narrowest possible configuration, mounted to an axial axle (or yota axle) and measuring the width from outside ring to outside ring?
like this but WITHOUT tires mounted:

I will get you an exact measurement this evening. Smallest hubs are .225 offered by VP which is what these mount with.

i just need to see an overall width with them mounted on an axle so i can compare that overall width with my rims to see if the chameleons will be narrow enough THANKS!

I can't get a mounted pic with the narrow width as I only have .350 and .475 hubs, but I can do the math and give you inside and outside of the wheel measurements with no tires mounted.

Yota Front axle + SCX hexes + 225 Hubs = 7.6" to outside of Chameleon wheels (not tires)

Axial Front axle + SCX hexes + 225 Hubs = 8.1" to outside of Chameleon wheels (not tires)

(rear axles are typically a hair narrower)

Very very helpful! I'm sorry you had to strip down your rigs yo get those measurements! But I'm sure many people will like to have those numbers too.

Thanks Cory, got my wheels in today and can't wait to get them mounted!! One quick question if you've got it...what size hardware do I need for slw hubs? I picked up a used set and they didn't come with hardware (can't mount my wheels yet )

4-40
most use 1/4" long, i prefer 3/8" for ease of mounting
