Default Skid plate

Hallo,
i am Oliver from Germany.
The Creeper is my first crawler. Only problem at the build was stripped threads at the 2.5mm ch screw and the thin body. It broke by drilling cuting. Have any other this problem to?
So far it is no breakage problem.
By the first run with the car, it hang with the Tranny sometimes on the ocks, so i made a skid plate. Here the prototyp:

Sorry for my english .

your english is better than my German.

I hear there will be a replacement or something similar to this coming from venom? Last I heard it was getting designed, but who knows.

Looks like nice work tho, is that a white 5 gallon bucket? or the metric equivalent over there?

#olli23 Servus aus Österreich!

Very nice idea, great work, looks good!
As soon I have build up my Venom, I will try to make a skin plate like yours...

I enjoy building up the Venom, every day a little bit after work. No problems so far, the 2,5 screws have to handeled with care... By the way, I have noticed, that the inch screwdriver fits the best to the 2,5 screws, but to the 3 screws the metric screwdriver is better...

The only abnormality so far, that the "ball joints 20 Deg" has different lenght. Some are about 1/2 - 1mm shorter than the others and the factory set screws in the rims has been overtightened...

But all in all I really enjoy building the Venom, it is really high quality and accurate made!

Mahlzeit Alex,
the screws in the rims are not overtightend by mine. The shorter ball joint can be the reason, that the upper rear link are a little bit shorter. I fix it with two washer, out of the set.
See you at rockcrawler.de.

Gruß Oliver
