Default Ground Clearance?

What kind of ground clearance are you guys getting?

I've got about 2.5" to the bottom of the tranny. I had closer to 2" with the stock oil and internal springs, so I switched it to AE 40wt and that helped a bit but they weren't really rebounding enough so now I've got 60wt in there with the internal springs removed. I think taller tires would help too. I'm thinking about HB Rovers as they seem to get pretty good reviews around here. I think I need to get closer to 3" to be competitive at my LHS crawling course.

Any other suggestions?

just a balance of CG and GC. but you gotta build it to the terrain you are gonna attack. my hangup point is the tranny lip, should be a fix coming soon for that.

my setup has me about 2 1/4
One thing i did was ditch the stock shocks and put some decent hotbodies lightning shocks on. They are really nice.

I have about 2 3/4" to the center of the skid. I am running the stock shocks, but with 60wt all around and external springs scavenged from my slash and a random pack of Losi springs (they were on sale for 50% off, who could pass that up). I also have Flat Irons mounted up right now until i get something better.
