Default Creeper takes first place at local comp!

Well, today there was a local comp, there was about 6 axials 2 creepers and 2 warthog buggies. I took first place in the creeper! Beat out 2 rigs with digs and the axials suffered from lack of turning. I have a ton of pictures, I will load them and post. I won every course except the last one I tied the warthog with a dig.

Ha!...bout effin time It was fun everyone had a good time, it was fun to see how competitive we could be with "stock" creepers against a bunch of well modded rigs.

Default Creeper kills

I was at a comp this weekend and my buddy was the only one with a creeper and hands down it costed me in my axial about 15 reverses that took the creeper 2. I WANT A CREEPERS STEERING, but on my rig. The creeper is an awesome out of the box rig, it's got my props!!!

Congratulations!

Just finished a comp in the pouring rain and the Creeper ran fantastic. I know I didn't win but the problems were all mine not the trucks. Easily climbing were the axials were having trouble.

Schwiiing. Cool glad to hear this. Mines almost done. We dont comp. we just sport crawl but its good to know it will be capable anyway. And Venom has great customer support. Luckily for me the only thing wrong with my kit was 1 of the wheel hexs was not tapped for set screws. Venom said they would get one out very soon. thanks Venom.

Elliptic, are you using the remote locking on the diff? I have been on the rocks with mine and find the remote locker makes little difference to the tuning circle I think it's more of a gimmick.

that depends, if you can get your inside rear wheel hooked on something, you can really spin it around tight. if you are talking about a plain flat surface, yea, it wont make to much difference.

BUT

If it can save you one reverse, that might be all you need for a win.

bottom line, you already have the ability to remote lock and unlock, USE IT! and yes, you do need a spring added or connect the servo directly to the switch.
