| What Turn Motor For The Creeper?
I have a 55t integy motor in my Creeper, Losi red springs in back and pink in front and Rovers with memory foams. I'm thinking it has to much torque. I'm getting way too much torque twist. I'm thinking of reducing the # of turns. What do you guys think? :?

I have a creeper with a 55t and a creeper with a 45t and like the 45t alot better. I will be switching the 55t out for 45t shortly. On my 45t I run a 12 tooth pinion.

The motor is not the answer to twist... and i don't think you'll ever get rid of torque twist completely. What I've done is this...ditched the 50/50 as I found I needed more belly room... losi light green springs up front and right rear...left rear spring is a losi red(I think its a losi could be a T-maxx)... 40wt shock oil in the fronts and right rear... 70wt in the left rear. By doing this I still have a LITTLE torque twist going foward when I punch it and a bit more in reverse but thats ok for me... it dosen't look like my creeper had a 5th of JD before it went crawling The other thing you can do is play with your link placement... I haven't myself so maybe others can point you in the right direction. |

Just did a comp last weekend. I run a Novak rooster crawler and 55T combo with a 2S lipo pack. Definitely found myself wishing for more wheelspeed in a couple of situations, such as cresting tall climbs so as not to get hung up and to help once you do get hung up. Ordered a 45T Warrior. Hope that helps! Anybody else run this motor with stock gearing?

i have the integy matrix pro 75t in mine, i like the tons of torque it has, but it doesn't seem to have the wheel speed im looking for, i want to get some new pinions, but don't know which way to go (bigger/smaller) to get to acheive more wheel speed Flag |

To get more wheel speed, you want a higher number of teeth on the pinion...or get a lower turn motor....75 turn is rather high....I have a 35 turn and it has more then enough torque .

I run a 55t it is o.k. but do want a lil more wheel speed, Prolly go to a 45t later. I don't have hardly any torque twist. I run stock 20wt all 4, shocks are inverted w/left rear adjusted a lil tighter. |

I've tightened down the left rear spring almost all the way. That seemed to help a little bit. Hopefully I can get my 45t today. Is anyone using a liPo? Cause I'm wondering if the twist has something to do with the stock battery position? Thanks in advance for all your guys input. |

I did the ckrc stage two with 50wt oil all around stock springs, Integy V11 45t motor with 3s lipo have very little torque twist and plenty of wheel spin.

stage 2 kit. Curious how you mounted the fromt shocks. The cross piece would hit motor can. Do you like the kit? | |
