| My Creeper with dig...hey wait what?
Creepers dont have dig! Well there is another comp here this weekend, the "shamrock showdown" it looks like the factory dig units are still a couple months away, Soooo I decided to make a DL dig unit for my creeper so I can be a little more competitive with the rest of the group. I am down loading some pics now....here is a little you tube video of it.....It works flawless. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6mbKgvao10 EDIT: Here are a couple pictures of the servo mounted on top of the tranny, And the dig on the driveline. I will post some more shortly, I am getting ready for a comp this weekend. Post up if you want to see anything special Last edited by 1\4elliptic toy; 03-13-2009 at 05:25 PM. |

I will post some pics in the morning, It is different than the axial but the same idea, the creeper had a few very different things that required some design changes from the axial versions, The centered drivelines made it tough to mount the servo, the axials mount to the rear axle, you could mount it there on the creeper but I didnt want my servo out where it could get hammered so I decided not to mount my servo on the axle. The drivelines on the creeper are waaaay shorter than the axials so the dig unit needed to be way shorter than the axials too.

Very nice job, I currently have mine apart. I am switching the chassi out w/a CKRC Rockstar chassi and Axail tranny. I do plan on comping soon but, have never done it. With that said, I will first try the Novice class w/o dig. Then later with the big boys |
