Default Broken CVD help~!!

Just broke a CVD in the front of my venom creeper, just wondering if anyone knows if the MIP CVD's from the axial will work as a replacement? I read on rcuniverse.com that some guy was claiming they would. Any help would be much appriciated. I'm going to call venom tomorrow and see if I can't get a replacement part under warranty since its only been a week since i've owned it.

ive busted both the driveshafts going to the axles, and ive tried looking thru my stash of parts from over the years. i broke 2 or 3 output shafts from a stadium truck, wouldve worked great if the connections had been metal. lol. right now im using the output shafts off of my t-maxx ( replaced them with mip cvds) just had to cut them down a bit. they work, sorta. lol. im gonna order a pair of those punisher shafts of of rcwd. anybody have any idea what size the hole needs to be?
