Default Holmes 7t puller or crawl master

Hey everyone I was just wondering if anyone has tried using the holmes 7t puller or crawlmaster in their creepers?? I just wasnt sure about clearance issues with either of these motors. It looks the the cooling fins on the motor plate would have to be trimmed down to clear the large can of the crawlmaster motor. Anyone have either in their rigs ??

From my understanding, go with the 7T no questions asked and you won't regret your decision. All I hear about this motor is it's the best period!

If I couldn't run a puller,I'd run a 35t Holmes Hand wound.

The Crawlmasters are very nice motors, don't get me wrong. I've run them in the past. They really work well, but brushed motors are better suited for comps.

i was just thinking, if you want to get both, and decide which you dont like, you can just give me the lame motor, the worst one if you will.

anyway, just an idea.

From what I have read alot of people love the crawlmaster and the same with the 7t puller lol. From what I have read it sounds like the 7t has plenty of power for just bashing around as well as crawling. How is the crawlmaster for bashing ??

I picked up a 35t hand wound the other night and was lucky enought to get a 7t puller last night. I think it should work well with a 11.1 lipo.

I ran my crawlmaster in Bruiser Hybrids to 1/6th Trucks,If your only running 7.2 volt cheap batteries......its not good for bashing,Add a11.1 lipo and she comes to life,I love my Crawlmaster 1000kv on 16 volts, but its loud,Crawlmaster humm alot. They are still better than brushed motors on 7.2 volt stick packs
