It gets rid of the steering knuckle on the rear axle and locks the wheels in the straight position. This also means you don't need the links that connect from the steering knuckle to the axle housing and the rear skid plate, this gives you a little more clearance and less parts to break.

My locks out just came in the mail today... No idea how to install them I dont think I reuse all the bearings (big one).... Well I guess I am only using the small bearing and then putting that inside the lock out then putting 2 of the 4 included shims/washers to further help center it inside the lock out. Fits perfect, rear wheels toe angle is extremely solid with no play now. Got em' from www.liquidrc.com super fast .99 cent shipping!!! Last edited by wangankin; 05-11-2009 at 08:10 PM. |

They are bad ass, massive ground clearance with out that damned skid plate! Love em' They are extremely light weight good and bad. I have no doubt they will hold up but the aluminum feels very very light (i guess a good thing) but would be nice to have extra weight down low. But I guess its better that its light weight incaseyou already have your rig tuned the way you like it, it will not affect performance. It may weight less than all the stock parts because you lost all that plastic and steel screws + a big bearing. Super happy over all Last edited by wangankin; 05-13-2009 at 12:36 PM. |

Sorry but I've a question because I don't understand: do they fit with original axle shafts? it seems to be impossible, because original axle shafts are bigger... :? Thanks in advance! |
