Default New Creeper- Pics

I'm a newb to the RC crawling thing. I have a 1:1 "Crawler" which is actually a Dodge ram truck- not a jeep. I like the scale thing, but I am going to run this around to bash up and learn about the hobby.

Specs:
55t Integy motor
Traxxas 2019 receiver (freebie)
Traxxas TQ control (Freebie)
Traxxas XL-5 ESC
Futaba S3305 servo
(4) 7.4V 6 cell nimh 11mAh batteries (freebies)
Hot Bodies white dot rovers (soon to have PL Stage 2 foams)
Venom beadlocks

MODS:
full Venom belly skid
modified pro line heavy black springs
inverted lower links
rear skid removed
rear lockout links moved to front side
Dodge 1/10 body- Haven't figured out how to mount it yet...

Pics to follow soon...

I am planning to go to 9.6V 8 cell batteries and a higher torque servo- more oomph from the motor and servo. I don't plan to use the locking mechanism, but I am interested in the dig whenever it hits. What are some other upgrades that will give a good bang for the buck?

TD

cant wait to see how this rig turns out

for more speed you could go with Lipo. cost quite a bit more for the charger and balancer, but its all worth it.
i would recommend the Hitec 645 or the Hitec 5645.
both great servos, i use them both.
