| What batteries are you boys runnin?
My e-flite 2S took a dump on me before winter and I have been hunting for a new one thats is nice and cheap... I have been looking around at hobby city (have a bunch of packs from there and I love them all, and their prices) and found this: http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbyking/s...idProduct=9325 I think ill be ordering 2 when the snow melts, and a 3S TX pack as well as a couple more 3S's for my slash and mini hyper STe. What are you guys running and what ESC/motor? Run times? |

I run these in my LCC and the creepers 9.95$ each 4.95$ flat shipping rate. Currently out of stock, but I have 7 of them so good for a while. Easily get 25-30 minutes of constant running. http://www.hobbypartz.com/83p-1300mah-3s1p-111-20c.html They also fit my 400 Heli |

Isnt C just dis charge rate? It shouldnt matter if you have more, the motor can only pull so much I think the ESC has no problem if you have 100C, its cells/volts that you cant go over in, correct me if im wrong.

Higher C rated batteries typically maintain higher voltage during discharge

Im running the Hyperion G3 CX 3S 1300MAH 25C pack. Im averaging about 35~40 minutes with an FXR and a 45T Pro Tekin. the battery is great. i have been charging at a little over 2C (2.6amp = 2C -1300mah, been charging at 3AMP) on a Hyperion EOS0606i and average charge time is 20 minutes. I also get over 11v over the entire run time with a sudden cutoff at the end. The batteries are great.

I have two of them and can charge one before the other is run out so could crawl 24/7 if I wanted to. I do however charge my lipos at 1/2 C and balance them too. I still have the ability to run for over an hour per day. Consider that my boats get 1.5 -3mins max..........at insane speed | |
