| Aluminum axle housing
I did some searching and couldn't find what I was looking for. Ftom what I see, no one makes aluminum axles for the creeper. Does anyone know if any shops are going to make any? Is there any interest? I ask because I broke a tab on one, and being that I'll be overseas for a while longer previously mentioned in another thread, I'm hoping that I'll be able to have something that won't break on me. I really hate being down for weeks at a time.

I've yet to see one. Which tab did yeah break? Personally plastic slides better than aluminum. Most of us run plastic under our aluminum Berg/Bully axles. |

I broke the tab that the lower link attaches to. I figure it was because of the way the stage two attaches to the axle, putting all the stress of the shock and link off center of the tab. I've since got another axle and have made chassis extensions so I can run the shocks in the normal spot. Just wondering about some aluminium ones to prevent further breakage. Seems every other time I take it out I break something. Just today, on its second roll of about 6 feet I ended up breaking a front c knuckle.

I'l be sure to give Earth a call and have her turn down the gravitron. I just don't see why we can't have parts that don't break so easily. If there are trucks that can get big air and not break box stock, why can't we even upgrade to better durability. Only makes sense to me. |

I believe that RC4WD makes an Axial aluminum axle housing. It might be somewhat compatible or require slight modification to fit. Chris |
