Default Custom Skid plate for venom and Venom DIG Unit!!!

Below are pics of a custom skid plate i made using sheet metal and a dremel! If you have any questions on how to do it...just ask...im not very creative when it comes to stuff like this but i figured it out....i was tired of the transmission hanging up on rocks and not sliding over rocks very well....here are some pics...hope this helps....cost 6 dollars for a piece of sheet metal...and a dremel...but already had the dremel.....i only used about $0.60 worth of the sheet metal....

Stick I could get half wa up this thing....Get stock Lock the rear tires and a little throttle with some steering and Wa La!!!! Any Questions just ask...I LOVE THIS FORUM!

How does the metal skid work??? It looks pretty smooth.

Seems like it could be an issue with getting hung on rocks... it's it's anything like my T-Case skid on my Jeep.

Im not sure about your jeep...I built this because the creeper has a pretty sqare transmission and the tranny would catch on alot of bs stuff....plus plastic does not slide that well on sharp edged rock...so i built the skid plate to combat that...it works really well so far....Plus I rolled the edges up about 3mm so that the skid would assist in sliding up over rocks and other items.
