| scale chassis? Does anyone make a scale chassis that could be used with the Creeper components, i.e. the X-trail for the ax-10? One that would use the stock Creeper links, trans, etc switched over to the new platform? |

| actually, i did see that, but they want $157 for the combo kit with the motor plate and transfer case. i wonder if the chassis could be used by itself with the venom components (skid, trans, and driveshafts) rather than buying the combo with the motor plate and transfer case. I'm thinking very hard about buying a venom kit, selling off the stuff I don't need (chassis, shocks, wheels/tires) and then buying the GC Machine kit. I keep going back and forth...if I buy the components seperate (chassis, trans, axles, etc) I'd probably still spend close to $100 for all of that and still have to fab my links, etc. If I buy the venom kit I'd have all my links, trans, axles, shocks for about $120 plus still have the ability to sell the stuff I don't need...PLUS all of it would be brand new. I have a feeling a venom is in my near future... Last edited by brianw; 03-28-2010 at 06:15 PM. |

an xtrail damn near bolts up, the safari chassis looks retarded and will probablly be illegal for scale competion, an scx10 should bolt up with little modification

| the axial holes for their tranny and the ones for the venom are almost identical if you wanted to use the axial chassis all you would have to do is widen one of the holes for the tranny

Try a Ute, it has several mounting holes for links. I don't know if the stock skid will mount up directly but it does come with a blank skid you can drill yourself http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=145526 E-mail Ben to see what we have in stock |
