There is a screw that goes through the cover plate on the front of the axle that can be used to adjust the friction on the slider for the locker.

It is all a lot of fun and amusment until you realise that having the bloody thing locked all the time is good.

I did a lot of crawling with the front locked and the rear open and it is great to learn with but at the end of the day it is good to have the front and rear locked.

I had the same problem, with the rear locker. I had to take it all apare and refit the the locker in the gears cause they were ever so slightly off. now it works great. If you don't have the switch plate tight enough though it will unlock when you really need it locked so make sure you tighten it up good.

i have issues with this very subject.
i have found that the tighter or looser that you have the screw
in the slide ,that it stays in or comes out easier.
my problem is ,if i have it tight enough to keep it in with out
coming out, then i cant get it to come out when i want it to.
thats probably why most poeple just totally lock it in all the time
or replace it with the flm lockers . i will keep experimenting ,
i can see me replace them in the near future though!!!
