| Stage 2 Way Stiff
I just put my venom back together with the stage 2 kit from CKRC and it's very stiff - I mean night and day difference between stock and stage 2. Is this part of the reasoning that flex isn't really needed? I'm really shocked at the lack of flex... haven't tried it out, but I gues that will be the test. It seems as if the spacers in the shocks have severly limited the travel. Anybody have the same experience as me? |

They say that too much flex will hurt you. I say try it out and see how it performs. It may help the torque twist.

My stage 2 seemed a little stiff at first, but it has loosened up quite a bit.

| agreed. the stage 2 kit runs 19mm spacers, im personally running 27mm internal spacers in all 4 shocks and 8mm outer spacers on the fronts. i like my rig to be stiff with little articulation. i did a home brew stage 2 kit. i also run axial 2.5 lbs. springs in the rear and 2lbs. in the front....

all good info - good to know I'm not crazy or terrible at putting together these things with little or no direction. I will update y'all when I get the new servo in and try it out. |

Try it out and you'll see. Although, its better to build stock and then try mods to see how much they help. Stage II is like night and day from stock.
