Im useing Traxxas Stampede axles and Traxxas steel yokes in mine, they are working great soo far, I just need to get some thread lock on my set screws and I should have a problem with them coming loose on me. just my opinion....

Style 2 are the Traxxas set pretty much, just under CKRC name, probly come in a traxxas packageing..... shop around and you may beable to get them cheaper off ebay

The all metal shafts really arent necessary,,,

I use: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXJG59&P=ML and these,,
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXJJ82&P=M

which are also available in a propack,,, much less weight and rotating mass. I havent had a single problem since installing them.

cool, thanks for all your information, just went through and read your build thread, man you have a sweet rig and i think ill be using those shafts, what did you use to make those chassis cross braces, i originally thought i would make them out of some solid 1/4 rod and have my machinist buddy drill and tap em, but now im thinking i should use something less of a PITA to bend

Thanks,,I just used Axial Blue links,,a little longer than the chassis is wide and formed the front one to fit over the motor and the rear one was cut to length and I used a black oxide socket head screw to retap the threads a little deeper... The Aluminum links and rod arent hard to bend just dont bend too sharp or to fast, itll break or become very weak..bend it a little at a time til you get what you want, I just use a pair of channel lock pliers and a vise. A brake tubing bender would work awesome though.

Stay tuned though I have a bad a$$ new chassis design and other parts coming out very soon,,specifically for the Creeper guys.

I am going to start bumping this thread about twice a month for those unfortunate folks who have non-functional search features on RCC
