Default Just added a Creeper to the stable!

Just added a Creeper to the stable!
The local Hobby Town had 2 on clearance. So my wife asks if that would make a good father’s day gift.
The build went well, I spent extra time during assembly to make sure it was all perfect. I only had one problem. Two of the half shafts didn’t fit in the bearings. It took a few good taps to get it seated. I built the shocks without the internal springs. After the first time on the rocks I felt the suspension was way too soft. I replaced the shock oil with 80 weight and added 0.4” piece of fuel line to lower the ride height. I also added 3 oz of weight to the front wheels. These mods made a big improvement. I then moved the rear toe in links to the front of the rear axle.
Setup: (Using stuff I had laying around)
Integy 55t
Losi Speed control on the crawler setting
Venom 3 channel FM computer radio
Airtronics Rock Crusher 94361 servo

Wish list items:
Lipo on the front upper links
HB Rovers
Losi Comp Crawler Body
Dig unit

+1 i just intalled a set of white rovers to my rig and it made a HUGE difference. also relocating the shocks to the chassis and repositioning the upper links along with moving lower shock mounts to lowerlink mount area and repositioning lower links will help a lot in TT

happy crawling
