Default lockouts

ok ive done extensive searching and my eyes are killing me, and i really want to get this done so im just gonna go out on a limb and hope someone can help me here.

here is the deal, just got my real axle lockouts in today and im in the process of installing them but im not sure about bearings. in my searches i found someone said that the lockouts came with shimms . . . mine did not, so . . . are shimms needed and/or what did anyone whom has these lockouts do as far as bearings and the assembly of the thing?

i put the small bearing from my original knuckles on the end of the stub but when i went to fit it in the lockout it would not go down all the way, does anyone have any pics in a step by step form to help me out?

also do i use both bearings (large and small) from my stock knuckles or just the small or ??????

thanks for any help

hey bro,,you only use the smaller outer bearing. the axle stub will seat against it,,if the hex bottoms out against the end of the lockout then youll need shims between the hex pin and the bearing until it doesnt bottom out

it will bind your axle,,,if it spins easy then you should be good,,but you might wanna run a couple packs through it and check it

Do these come with new real axle's? ie a single straight axle with a flat end (Locker end) and a threaded end with the pin hole for the hex hub.

No,,you use the outer bearing and these eliminate your knuckle and C-hub,,,the CVD winds up inside the lockout. They work fine though.
