Default Lipo ?

HI, Guys. I'm new to the hobby, just built my first kit Vemon Creeper. I have a CKRC MG995 Servo, Dura Trax Intellispeed auto sport ESC, Venom VRST radio, Venom 55t motor, Dura Trax 1800mAh. I added weight to the front tires and cut down the foam, removed the inner spring from the shocks. I already broke the front and rear drive shafts. I'm changing them out to Traxx ones.Other than one of the yokes was not taped and the axles are next to imposible to install the kit was easy to put together. The question I have is can I run a small Lipo with the setup I have.

Thanks, Mike

Yes you can, how ever you will need an external lipo cutoff module for that esc as it does not have lipo capability

... and check the specs on the ESC, to what it's max. voltage input is.

Some ESC's that are rated to 6 cell NiCD and NiMH and strictly say 7.2v max can go up in smoke if you hook up a 2S (7.4v) liPO, as the actual voltage of a 2 cell LiPO is closer to a 7 cell old school battery (8.4v).
