Default What chassis to chose?

After a modification gone wild, I now have a set of Venom creeper axels and transmission left over. I want to build my selfe a "Icland style" HiLux, but I am not sure what chassis to use. I have narrowed the alternatives down to two. I plan to use my HiLux in the Norwegian 2.2Unlimited scale class, and the 1.9 unlimited if the width is narrow enough.
Alternativ 1: I realy like thiis one a lot! Engine, transmission and that the Venom parts is "bolt on". The one point against is the cost.

Alternativ 2: This one is used by a lot of people, looks to work just fine. Many people I can ask for advise. The price is a bit lower. Against this chassis, it is not "bolt on".

What chassis do you think I should go for?

then youll want something narrow for a chassis,,like around 2" wide all the way along its length but especially at the axles...if you run fat fat "snow pack" terra style tires youll need the extra room.

Personally, I think all 2.2 tired scale rigs look like those snow trucks. Not a bad thing, just the proportions.
