Default Will this battery fit in the tray?

Just ordered a venom creeper kit and a rooster with a 55t
and I'm wondering what the dimensions of the battery tray are?
Will this battery fit in the tray http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=11938 ?
and what run time do you think I can get out of it?
Thanks

Don't use the battery tray. problem solved.

Seriously.

read through "on the Creeper wagon" posted by rmdesignworks in the venom section (this section). It's several pages long, but everything you need to know is on the first couple posts by rmdesignworks.

i found the pieces of my stock battery today and made some measurements. the measurements i copied and pasted were from the battery you put in the link. sorry about that, i had just woke up and misread your post before i went to work....now that im awake and reread it....

come on guys, the guy asked a question if a battery would fit in the battery tray. we dont know if hes the kind of guy that just wants to build a crawler out of the box to run it around his back yard or going to build a comp rig. so lets answer his question without telling him to get rid of it or go read some thread.....

done with my rant, and back to the original question. the size of the battery is big. it will "squeeze" in width wise. now length wise it is about 6mm to long...as theres some plastic nubs that are part way into the battery tray that the battery will rub on. so my answer is going to be no. i looked on that same site and found some alternative choices around the same price...

now the run time you may see with these pack may be around 2+ hours (depending on how you run your creeper). i ran a 4000mah 2s lipo when i first got my creeper and was running 2+ hours on it....

yup its a few hairs to long
Im running a 2000mah lipo and get about a hour out of it and 2 5000mah 7.2v stick packs that give about 1.5 hours each. plenty of run time for me to get bored but then again most of my running has been just in the back yard so I hope to do better when im doing less full throttle stuff
