| creeper axle shaft options
well i finally broke my axle shaft on my creeper and am looking to upgrade. after reaserching the internet i havnt found many options. So I was wondering what everyone is using for axle shafts on their creepers?

Just get a couple of the stock sets. I don't believe the ckrc shafts are much stronger. The weak point is right towards the end of the shaft at the joint. make sure your pins aren't coming loose too. I've only broken one axle (long shaft) due to binding up and trying to power my way out.

I'VE RAN THE SAME AXLES FOR ALMOST 6 MON THS, THERE STARTING TO GET ALIL LOOSE BUT HAVENT BROKE ONE IN A LONG TIME, MAIN THING IS BUILD THEM RIGHT TO BEGIN WITH, CHECK T&T'S , I'VE GOT 3 SPARES AND A SET OF RMDW'S PIN LOX , BUT UNTILL I BREAK SOMETHING WHY FIX IT. 2 SET SRCEWS AND CLEAN OUT THE PIVOT END WITH A SMALL FILE AT ASSYMBLY , HAVE SQUICKY CLEAN AND LOCKTITE. |

Just ordered our third right front shaft. My son is a good driver and mostly lighter on the throttle but it still happens. I don't understand how the axial ones hold up and the creeper axles seem to break, axials are noticibly smaller in diameter!

Ive broken 4 short and 6 long shafts but never have had a pin come out. Two set screws and a little blue loctite keep it in place but i am waiting to get the xvd's
