if u just bought it, they should send you some red pin retainers...I'd ask them.....if not get RMDW's pin lox ASAP!!!! you WILL need them....but you should be able to get some free from venom, kits were recalled and are supposed to include them now. |

| thanks man! @chappy4o- dang that explains it... i can wait for a while to get the vulture chassis @rybredd- the kit i think is an older one but im not sure. i got heat shrink on the front axles but it probably wont last long motor is installed, just have to pick up some good solder monday and get started on the wiring |

well the way to tell if it is a older kit is to look at the cvd pin thou point. if the outter cvd shaft looks like this then its an older kit if the outter shaft looks like this at the end, where the pin goes though to the inner axle shaft, than its one of the newer kits hop this helps to fine out what year kit it is |

what did you do about the pins in the rear? will they eventually wear out the inside of the hr lockouts if they are left stock?

yea they would but the coust to make a set of them can be a prity penny depending on where you go. i think my father nows a welder that does stuff like this so i might see how much it cousts to make a set out of steel.
