Default RC's creeper build

Hey! newb here Ryan. I decided to make a build thread and I
decided to get a creeper. only problem was it was missing
some parts. but that was solved by emailing venom.

here is what i have so far but some things will change
-tekin fxr and 45t handwound
-mg946r tpro servo (temporary)
-fs gt3b controller
-hb rovers white
-6 nimh cell saddle pack (till i get lipo)
-hr lockouts

thing to come in the near future
-new chassis
-new foams
-small lipo to fit front axle
-bta steering
-different drive shafts
-ci delrin lower links
-more stuff than i can remember

this is what it looks like right now... nothing new different just stock. rear upper
links are off because im trying to come up with a mount for them

ill post more pics as it comes together

yeeeeeaaaahhhhhh . . . . . . about thaaaat . . . . . . Thomas has been fighting life/murphy lately so it may be a bit for a response . . . . . but i know i can tell you this . . . he has most likely, at least, made a not of your request and is working on it. he got very backed up when several things went wrong all at once. but i can guarantee that he (as long as their are no more distractions) will be back up and running and will get you whatever info/parts you need.

but a definite +1 on the vulture and creeper link. foams are a good piece to . . . . they go well with those rovers you got. (just check out my build thread. . . i got a review of em in there.)and the pin lox are a must!!!!!

anywhoo . . .

cant wait for more pics and more progress

if u just bought it, they should send you some red pin retainers...I'd ask them.....if not get RMDW's pin lox ASAP!!!! you WILL need them....but you should be able to get some free from venom, kits were recalled and are supposed to include them now.

@rybredd- the kit i think is an older one but im not sure. i got heat shrink on the front axles but it probably wont last long

motor is installed, just have to pick up some good solder monday and get started on the wiring

well the way to tell if it is a older kit is to look at the cvd pin thou point. if the outter cvd shaft looks like this

then its an older kit
if the outter shaft looks like this at the end, where the pin goes though to the inner axle shaft, than its one of the newer kits

hop this helps to fine out what year kit it is

what did you do about the pins in the rear? will they eventually wear out the inside of the hr lockouts if they are left stock?

yea they would but the coust to make a set of them can be a prity penny depending on where you go. i think my father nows a welder that does stuff like this so i might see how much it cousts to make a set out of steel.
