|  tranny Gears?!
Just smoked my tranny gears, is there any upgrade for these? I've modded and upgraded everything else on this thing so now the tranny!

there are no stronger gears for these. just got to live with the stock gears. best thing to do is to go up on your motor turns or go down on your pinion gear. also make sure that u keep the gear mesh on the spur and pinion correct or else youll smoke them again  |

Make sure all the bearings are silky smooth and don't have any slop. Alot of times when I see someone claim a gear failure, it's really a bearing failure. The gears don't tolerate being even slightly misaligned for very long. How many hours of use did you have on your gearset? |

not to jack but..I had 16 months on my first set of gears... another possible issue is grease if used..the wrong type will destroy the gears...motor type and size and your throttle finger are big factors too. |
