Pinion Gear Alternative ???

so i broke my pinion gear crawling last weekend, got some rock bounce air and caught an edge wrong, the ring gear is fine i just need another pinion gear, my LHS carries team associated, traxxas, hpi, ofna, and losi would i be able to use any pinion from another rc to use for this weekend because over night shipping is through the roof! if not i guess ill just sit out this weeks scale outing

Only Venom pinions fit Venom axles...its not just the pitch that has to match too...Youll need a replacement set of gears..Ring and Pinion from Venom.

Already talked to venom got hooked up with a free set, just wondering if anything would work

I'm sure there's another ring and pinion out there from a different r/c that would work but it's yet to be found.

Well..I stood in a Hobby Town and looked for over an hour at pinion gears and ring gears for everything from Associated's to Tamiya's to X-ray's and nothing is close enough to be called a replacement...Axial pinions are close but the gear shoulder is wrong along with the depth of the gear...the shaft is also wrong but close. Axial ring gears are completely wrong due to the thickness and center bore and bolt pattern. In order to install different ring gears a custom spool or diff carrier is needed to accept multiple ring gears...then the gear lash has to be figured along with shim thicknesses and pressure angles.
