Default my first crawler.

Hey everyone, just picked up my first crawler and it happened to be a venom creeper.

Here's the one I got,
Venom Rc Rock Crawler
I paid 150 for it.

Needs a radio and battery and I don't know too much about it. So if you guys could give me some good ideas for both that won't break my bank, that would be awesome.

Glad to finally be part of the scene!

Fly sky makes good cheep radios I have two. Their gt3c is a 3 channel and can hold up to 10 different binds the receiver cost 10 bucks I paid 54 bucks for mine it comes with a rechargeable battery as well. Have had mine for two years now only problem so far is the 3 channel button no longer clicks it still works just doesn't click when pushed. The other one was a cheap 2 channel I paid 20 bucks for it has ran like a camp as well no problems

TowerHobbies.com | Venom LiPo 2S 7.4V 5000mAh 20C Universal Plug

Would this work good on my crawler?

Like I said, I'm still extremely new to the hobby so I have to ask.
